We usually do meet-ups for Vette and Camaro diehards but after this weekend, Volt fans are going to see more meet-ups coming their way! Shout-outs to the Bay Area Volt and EV owners who came out to swap stories and hang at the GM Advanced Technology office in Palo Alto. One lucky driver even took a Volt home for a week-long loan to experience what it’s like living with an EV (and to convince his wife to let him buy one).
Berkeley resident Patrick Wang, proud owner of the 10th Chevy Volt off the line, served as host and did a great job of charging up (sorry, I had to!) the Bay Area EV community.
Check out Patrick’s blog post and a video we put together from the event:
“Thank you all who came to the event on Saturday August 6th! I had a great time and hope you all did too. You can find some photos in the gallery and at the end of this post.
We had about 25 Volt Owners + their guests Show Up ~ Roughly 7-10 Leaf Owners and their Guests (And 1 Tesla Roadster) and well as just interested folks. All in all – I would estimate somewhere between 60-75 Total!”
